Thanksgiving at the Loft

Thanksgiving for the last several years has been a time when we would get away and go on a little mini vacation.  Generally we would spend just a few days in Orlanda and have fun and reconnect as a family.  This year however we decided to stay home and spend Thanksgiving with family and friends enjoying a wonderful dinner with all the trimmings. Here are some photos of our feast

A view from Canada

Hey everyone,

I know it has been awhile.  Sadly my studio (A.K.A. My kitchen) has been converted back to just that...my kitchen.  The art supplies, bins of fabric, sewing essentials and all of the other fun things I enjoy working with have been mostly packed away in anticipation of a move.  My husband and I finally made the decision to once again try to move.  We tried to move 7 or 8 years ago but unfortunately our timing was bad and just when we put our house on the market the market went bust.  Hopefully things will work out better this time around - but I will keep you posted.  In the meantime I will try to keep posting of what I'm working on, when I actually can work on something.

CANADA BOUND

This past summer we were Canada bound for a family vacation to celebrate 20 wonderful years of marriage. To commemorate this milestone anniversary we decided to take our daughters and rent a house on Prince Edward Island, Canada  but first we would spend a few days in Halifax, Nova Scotia.  Here are a few pictures from the trip.
